Euskalduna Conference Centre – Sala B3
10 organisations from 8 different countries participate in the ATM for SMEs project. As an advisory partner, the European Microfinance Network is also a member of the project, and some of the project partners are also members of the EMN. The purpose of the programme is to explore the opportunities with which the access of clients to microfinance sources can be improved on the level of the European Union.
The intensive implementation phase of the programme has ended, and now we can see the results and outcomes. The stressed purpose of the programme is to provide political decision-makers with knowledge and information that helps them to make microcredit financed from public funds available for a wider population and to achieve better social impact.
The content will focus on the following topics:
The greatest experience exchange programme of the EU called Access To Microfinance for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises was launched in 2016 within the scope of the Interreg Europe programme, which includes a lot of useful experience with regard to its impact on improving programmes related to microfinance, ERDF funds and the European Code of Good Conduct. This experience is important to both the microfinance sector as well as the decision-makers. The purpose of this session is to share these important results and good practices with the participants of the conference and to provide them an opportunity to discuss the issue in more detail.
We would like to show you our project film (around 35 minutes), which will be an exclusive opportunity to see it before the premiere of the film and which is all around the topic of microfinance, the life of the microcredit clients and suggestions to decesion makers on the field of microfinance.
